Wheel of Fortune is the turning of cycles: change of luck, timing, and forces larger than one plan.
About this card
This Major Arcana card marks fate in motion, seasons of rise and fall, and the reminder that no position on the wheel is permanent. Readers use it for turning points, synchronicity, and sudden shifts of circumstance. It is not only "good luck." It is motion you partly ride and partly steer. In a spread it often asks you to notice the cycle you are in and to meet change without pretending you control every spoke.

Upright meaning
A turn of events, often toward opportunity, that rewards readiness.
Upright, the Wheel suggests movement in your favor or a clear shift of chapter. Doors open. Timing improves. Unexpected help or coincidence can appear. The card still asks for participation: stay alert, take the opening, and remember that fortune turns again. Gratitude and adaptability matter as much as celebration.

Reversed meaning
Setbacks, stuck cycles, or resistance to a change already underway.
Reversed, luck feels sour or delayed. You may be fighting a turn that has already begun, or repeating a pattern you refuse to name. Delays, interruptions, and a sense of being at the bottom of the wheel are common. The medicine is usually acceptance plus a small, practical adjustment rather than a fight with the whole cycle.
